    Avril Lavigne Hot Gossips 

    Avril Lavigne promises to properly debut her new single, What the Hell, during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on Dec. 31.
    But in case you won’t be spending New Year’s Eve in front of the TV, the Canadian pop star has already given us a preview, which you can sample on the Citizen website.
    The song — the lead single off Lavigne’s upcoming Goodbye Lullaby album (out March 8) — is a glossy and pumping (and just a tad bratty) pop-rock track.
    “This song is the least personal song to me off this album,” Lavigne blogged back in November, telling fans what they could expect from the single. “It’s a fun and funny anthem. It has a broad message about personal freedom. It is the most pop track on the record.”
    And while it was easy to interpret that statement as Avril-style aloofness a month ago, now that we’ve got a teaser of the lyrics, we can’t help but think Lavigne’s statement was partly a disclaimer, given her divorce from Sum 41′s Deryck Whibley.
    “I’m thinking what the hell/ All I want is to mess around/ And I don’t really care about/ If you love me/ If you hate me/ You can save me baby, baby/ All my life I’ve been good, but now … what the hell!”
    The first Avril Lavigne single “What the Hell” will be debuted live at the upcoming star-studded “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest”. A music video will be premiered soon after the debut. In the meantime, fans can listen to a previously-revealed short snippet of the single.
    While “What the Hell” is a fun pop track about “personal freedom”, the other songs like “Smile” expresses her gratitude for special people in her life, “Push” has her exploring the dynamics of a relationship, “Wish You Were Here” bares her vulnerable side, and “Goodbye” shows off her strength to close one chapter of her life and move on to the next.
    “Goodbye Lullaby” is due in the United States on March 8, 2011. The team involved in the making of the album include her ex-husband Sum 41′s Deryck Whibley, and her longtime collaborators such as Evan Taubenfeld and Butch Walker as well as top-notch songwriter/producer Max Martin.     Vintage Rolling Stones And Led Zeppelin T-shirts Auctioned In New York 

    The auctioned tee-shirts, considered as collectable items, are from the sixties and seventies and were used by the crew of rock legends Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, The Who, Queen, David Bowie, Beatles and others.

    These ‘vintage’ rock band t-shirts are expected to reignite the fans attention for rock music and its trends. The items represent ephemeral ‘rock and pop’ culture icons, said the auction firm in a press release.

    Amongst the range of items, there is a t-shirt from the world acclaimed Led Zeppelin’s ’73 tour, and another one from ‘Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars’ show, where David Bowie used to play in the sixties, and which are estimated between 2,000 to 3,000 dollars each.

    From the same period, there is a Rolling Stones t-shirt with a very irreverent message, which reads in the front ‘Who the f**k are the Rolling Stones anyway?’, and at the back, ‘Who cares’, which could reach up to 800 dollars.

    One of the first t-shirts from the British band ‘the Yardbirds’, which promotes pop music and was worn during the Monterey’s Pop Music Fest in 1967, is expected to be sold between 3,000 to 4,000 dollars.

    Pictures from Ed Caraeff, Jim Marshall, Annie Leibowitz and other music legends will also be auctioned, along with some of their belongings. Led Zeppelin’s John Bonham’s Ludwig drum sticks, and an amplifier designed by Bob Rissi, which was used during the ‘American Tour’ in 1969 has been estimated between 10,000 and 15,000 American dollars.

    An autograph from one of the biggest rock stars of all times, Jimi Hendrix, over the cover of ‘The Jimi Hendrix Experience’ album; and signatures of all the band members over the ‘Bold as Love’ album, are expected to be sold between 8,000 and 10,000 dollars, and will also be part of this music-fans collectors’ auction.
